Educated in Stockholm, now living with her family in Gothenburg, Sweden. Wenche was born on the west coast of Norway, the land of high mountains and deep fjords, where tales of trolls and all kinds of supernatural creatures flourish in the wild nature. It is not more than natural that Wenche has always felt the urge to bring the fascinating tales and legends to the canvas. Wenche loves to paint from the surroundings of Norway and Italy; there she gets the motifs and settings she often uses for her fantasy paintings.

She has painted flowers in Botanical gardens for many years and the foliage has often become homes for small faeries and brownies. She is very inspired of music, and has painted musicians and dancers of all sorts. Her main inspiration though, is her three children, and she thanks them for their patience.

Wenche has yearly exhibitions in Norway and Sweden. She has also been invited to the Mozart gallery in Prague and has recently had an exhibition of music paintings in Bergen's Grieghall.
